It’s burger night! Which means we are constantly quoting this all night:
I mean no offense to your pumpkin spice lattes, and this isn’t intended as a slight toward pumpkin pie. I have the greatest admiration for the pumpkin pie donut at dunking donuts and immense respect for every pumpkin patch.
But I’m skipping orange. This fall season, I’m going straight to cranberry. Berry Charm by Sinful colors is my pick for this months mani-pedi hue.
What’s your nail color right now?

Tazo is the same brand that Starbucks has used forever. You can DIY those iced chai latte’s for pennies on the dollar at home. Except you can make it organic! Organic chai mix is the same price as the regular chai latte mix. Combine one to one organic milk and the boxed chai concentrate, pour it over ice and ENJOY!

Today marks my four year anniversary at Cross International. My first job after college has been a great fit for nearly 1500 days and counting.
However, realizing that I’ve been at this job longer than I was in high school and just as long as I was in college has kind of left me like this:
Just when you thought he couldn’t get even more attractive. I’m a lucky girl.

The other night there was a food truck rally in Margate and we happened to be driving by it while it was setting up. (This is the only way we would have ever learned about such an event.) So, later that night Josh and I headed over to scope it out. We had a great date night just the two of us, running into a few people we knew, trying out new and different foods, and people watching. It’s always the best when we’re reminded that we were (are) best friends first and married to each other second. Enjoy a glimpse of the evening:
Yay! Food Truck Rally!

I am getting bored with the look of my bathrooms and I have some extra paint. Therefore, NO WALL IS SAFE! I also happened upon this brilliant post on Pinterest (nicely) instructed Josh to do “This exact same thing” to our bathroom short separation wall. Our walls were already a tan(ish) color so we only had to add the stripes, and even though the contrast isn’t as drastic as my inspiration blog, I seriously love it so much, it’s subtle but commanding.
Now, to decorate everything else in this bathroom and the guest! Also, to change the burnt out light bulbs… These pictures are so dark!

I’m sort of out of a “read all the time” phase and into a “watch tv” phase. That being said, I have been re-watching two shows that have their full seasons on Netflix that you may or may not remember, but I think they are SO worth watching. So here are my two show recommendations:
Roswell and My Boys. Roswell was faithfully watched by yours truly during my early teen years and I actually didn’t discover My Boys until I saw it on Netflix a year or two ago. Roswell still calls out to my 13 year old heart, and as long as I can tune out my husbands teasing, I love watching it. My Boys is that show that I’ve seen so many times that I put on for background noise now if the house is too quiet, but still end up watching it the whole time. Here are some summaries of the shows:
Roswell
Roswell is about teenage alien/human hybrids living in Roswell, New Mexico who attempted to survive as humans and hide their alien sides, while trying to learn more about their alien powers, as well as figuring out how to get home. Roswell intertwined romance and science fiction that always kept you guessing. BOOK SERIES: The television show was based on the “Roswell High” series of books written by Melinda Metz. The books now carry on with stories after the TV series ended.
My Boys follows PJ (Jordana Spiro), a twenty-something professional sportswriter who is looking for love within her world which is dominated by her group of male friends. Her tomboyish, no-nonsense approach to relationships tends to freak out potential suitors which leads her only female friend to advise her to dress and act more feminine. Co-starring Jim Gaffigan.
Judge Not! Give these shows a try and let me know what you think.

We did it. We had it. We did beans on toast for dinner (I think it was breakfast time in the U.K.)
We scooped the beans on the toast pieces before we ate them, but I don’t think this is going to become a thing for us. Still, new things are always worth trying! However, I think I’ll stick with scrambled eggs, turkey bacon and coffee – that’s Josh’s specialty.

I wish you all a WONDERFUL morning. May your day be blessed, and your coffee be as hot as you are! (That’s pretty steamy). Thank you to my husband for always bringing me this life giving sustenance while I’m still in bed.
