This is a twist on a pretty basic chicken salad recipe that my sister gave me years ago. It’s Josh approved, so you know it’s good.

Hope you like it!

Baked Extreme Hot Dogs

Oven baked artery cloggers. I can’t even say I’m proud of this…but here it is.

Take some buns, add some mayo into them [i know, just do it] and pop them in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes

Boom. If you're like me, you let these bake for 15 minutes instead of 30, take them out, realize they're not heated all the way through and promptly microwave them for 1 minute and scarf

Try it…ONCE. Don’t go eating this regularly, my conscience couldn’t take it. Anyway, I’m not going to sit here and pretend these aren’t stupid delicious. They are.

Thank you to whoever decided that a standard bike rack wasn’t good enough. Thank you for letting your creativity win over, and also, thanks for the sign making it clear that this is indeed, a bike rack.

Chats from the past: Episode 1

Occasionally I stumble upon past G chats or Facebook messages between myself and a friend or Josh, that at the time were probably sincere, but now are just too funny.

This one is Josh and I on July 6th 2012 (a work day) Just after noon.

Josh:  Teach me to use Pinterest
Me:     Baby, not now. You know to do these things. You are smart, you can figure it out.
Josh:  I just need to know how to get started
Me:     Sign up. Did you do that? Sign up.

He learned eventually…

This foil is bananas b-a-n-a-n-a-s

Day 5 in the foil, I should probably eat these now…

Have you heard about this? I saw it on pinterest. Get a bunch of bananas and wrap their joint stems in foil and they won’t brown as quickly. I didn’t really think it would work, but I bought these bad boys on Monday morning and it is now Friday morning. When I got them they were full on yellow, maybe the smallest hint of green. Usually by midweek all the bananas I’ve bought on Monday are brown. Why do I buy so many bananas and not eat them? I don’t know! Why would you even ask me? I’m complex.

Do you have any special food preservation tips for me?
