One who does not welcome guests at home will meet very few hosts when he goes out.
I love our little welcome mat. It’s always dirty and probably makes people track in more dirt than it keeps out, but to me, it was the start of making our apartment into our home. We found it at Target when we were first married and as soon as I saw the skeleton key, I was a goner, there was no other mat in the world for me.
Briana and I are starting a collaboration and while it’s still in the early stages, I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am. April & Mae: coming soon.
BEFORE: she was so sweet and stand offish. She wouldn’t snuggle but would sit right by my bed whenever I was in it
AFTER: Not a flattering picture of her, but I needed a size comparison with my Kindle
I can’t believe these pictures are less than a year apart! Prim is certainly a cat. I still love her like she’s a cute little kitten.
I just know if I’m freaking out this much over my cat I’m totally going to be ‘THAT’ Mom who is constantly breaking out the baby pictures and weeping over them.
Sorry future kids, I totally saw this coming.
Do you do this? How much have your pets changed since you got them?
Don’t you just love, towards the end of a long hard day, the end of a long hard week, to be able to throw your hair in a messy messy bun on the top of your head, and power through the rest of your day? My hair is finally long enough to do this again.
Fill with water [this is a 4 cup mason jar], add cap, shake and let sit for at least 24 hours
Get another large mason jar and reusable coffee filter like this one
Action Shot! a.k.a. Blurry Shot. Carefully pour the coffee out of the Mason jar number one into mason jar number two through the filter.
Dilute the coffee 1:1 if so desired and serve with cream and sugar to taste
You can store that coffee in the fridge for about a week. Cold brewing gives you that great coffee flavor without the bitterness that icing hot coffee causes. I guarantee you’ll like this.
I’ve had my name on my license plate for years. Originally it was a gift from my Pop and I’ve been more than happy to pay the $25 a year to keep it. Now that we’re a one car couple however, Josh drives it more than I do (which I’m totally fine with). Cut to a few weeks ago.
Josh was driving to work after dropping me at my work and mini van pulls up next to him. The mini van proceeds to quickly reverse and pull back far enough to see the back of our XB and then drives back to be at his side and the couple in the van motion for him to roll down his window. I would have ignored this and stared straight ahead, but sweet Josh complies.
The couple ask him what his license plate means and he responds that it is his wife’s name. GUESS WHAT? It is ALSO the name of the woman in the minivan! There is another Adora here in south Florida! While, I’ll never give up my plate, other adora, I’m glad to know you’re out there. This one’s for you!
Welcome to my blog! My name is Adora. Here you'll see plenty of DIY projects, random videos, recipes, and fun little things from my life. I'm so glad you're here!
While some of my posts contain affiliate links; this blog would not be possible without the support of my husband Josh, and our beautiful baby boys, Jett & Jace!
